Located at the western end of Tourmaline Street, the Tourmaline Surf Park is situated at the foot of the Pacific Ocean. The Surf Park sits just north of Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach, and just south of the community of La Jolla. As its name implies, the Surf Park is one of the most popular surfing areas in Pacific Beach, San Diego. The Surf Park contains a grassy area to relax and enjoy, picnic tables, barbecue grills, and the opportunity to park right at the beach. The limited parking lot is usually full due to the number of surfers and sailboarders that use the park. Don’t be surprised if you see the same people using the park and surfing the waves day-after-day. The park also has restrooms and showers.
