Property sellers in Pacific Beach, San Diego, on average, obtained anywhere from 93% to 99% of their asking price during the period from January to December 2009. This indicates that, on average, dramatic price reductions from the asking price did not occur in the Pacific Beach real estate market. For all 377 properties sold from January through December 2009, on average, sellers obtained 93% to 99% of their asking price. The average for this period in 2009 is 95% of the seller’s asking price. The graph below provides a month-by-month analysis.

For the 248 condominiums and townhomes that sold from January through December 2009, on average, sellers obtained 93% to 101% of their asking price. The average for this period is 97% of the seller’s asking price. The graph below provides a month-by-month analysis.
